A Discussion on Suitable Master Batches for "Sanitary Napkins"

Sanitary pads are essential hygiene products that women use every month. On the occasion of International Women's Day, Honye would like to introduce the master batches suitable for "sanitary pads".

Composition of Sanitary Pads

The main materials used in sanitary pads include non-woven fabric, hot melt adhesive, high-absorbent resin, PE film, etc. They are divided into three layers from the inside out: the surface layer, absorbent core, and bottom layer.

During the production of sanitary pads, spunbond non-woven fabric, which is necessary for the pads, is mixed with master batches that provide softness, hydrophilicity, antibacterial properties, and whiteness.

Master batch for Softness

The soft master batch designed for sanitary materials such as masks, diapers, and sanitary napkins, selects sanitary and non-toxic softeners. Lower addition amounts can achieve obvious softening effects, improve the hand feel of the fabric, and the softness of the spunbonded non-woven fabric can be adjusted by adjusting the addition amounts.

Hydrophilic masterbatch

Hydrophilic non-woven fabric plays a crucial role in the absorbent core of sanitary napkins. The hydrophilic master batch can improve the hydrophilicity of the product, with obvious and long-lasting hydrophilic effect, and excellent sanitary performance.

Antibacterial masterbatch

According to surveys, the most important requirements for the functions of sanitary napkins for women are: antibacterial, comfort, breathability, dryness, and strong absorption. Antibacterial function is the top priority. The broad-spectrum and long-lasting antibacterial master batch has an effective sterilization rate of 99.9%, meets the dual requirements of antibacterial and mildew resistance, and ensures hygiene.

Special white master batch

It is well known that sanitary napkins containing fluorescent whitening agents are not desirable. Longquan Honye uses imported titanium dioxide and safe and odorless dispersants to produce high-concentration white master batch with excellent sanitation performance. Even in thin and lightweight spunbonded non-woven fabrics, only a 1% addition amount is required to meet the requirements of high coverage and whiteness.

Choosing safe materials for sanitary pads

is a crucial step in safeguarding the health of every woman.

Honye wishes every woman in the world

to be forever healthy and happy!
