Winter Hydrophilic Difficulties? You Probably Didn't Use the Right Masterbatch!

winter hydrophilic difficulties you probably did not use the right masterbatch

Since polypropylene is a non-polar structure and basically does not contain hydrophilic groups, the nonwoven fabric basically has no water-absorbing properties. The manufacture of hydrophilic nonwoven fabrics must be hydrophilically modified or hydrophilically finished, mainly in two ways: physical modification and chemical modification.

Compared with the hydrophilic surface modification finishing method requires the purchase of separate post-treatment equipment, which is expensive, and after three washes, the water penetration time increases about 15 times, which cannot meet the requirements of repeated use and other disadvantages; the masterbatch method is simple to produce, without adding any equipment, and more suitable for small batch production, in addition to its strong hydrophilic durability.

Recently, Hongye has optimized and improved the formula based on the old hydrophilic masterbatch F06, and developed F650M with stronger hydrophilic effect. Compared with the old model, the maturation time of F650M is shorter, and the 5% addition only takes 24 hours (room temperature > 25℃) to play the hydrophilic effect, and the 4% addition only takes 48 hours (room temperature > 25℃), while under the same conditions, the F06 maturation period takes 3-5 days. Secondly, F650 can also be used for hydrophilic modification of meltblown fabric, with excellent hygiene performance and obvious and long-lasting hydrophilic effect.

Keeping the process of pushing out new products, Hongye always pursues the most outstanding solutions to meet more customer needs by constantly developing differentiated new products, and the product formulations are upgraded with the times.
